NFT Coming to Spotify: Here are the First Screenshots

A special section has been added to Spotify where NFTs are showcased. Although the feature, which is still in the testing phase, does not provide direct purchase of NFTs, it provides detailed information and allows the NFT collections of artists to be examined. It is not yet clear whether the feature will be permanent. 
 

Spotify, one of the world's most popular online music and podcast platforms, has done a remarkable job. In the statements made by the platform, it was stated that a new section was added to Spotify where NFTs were exhibited ,   and the feature was started to be tested with users. NFT collections added to Spotify are currently viewable by a small group of users in the US .

The feature, which appeared in the Android version of Spotify, currently includes the works of only a few digital artists . These digital artists include names like Steve Aoki and The Wombats. In the statements made by a Spotify spokesperson, it is stated that NFTs can also be promoted through Spotify thanks to this feature. However, a Spotify spokesperson has given an open-ended answer to the question of whether this feature will be permanent. So we may never see the NFT collections on Spotify permanently  .

NFT collections added to Spotify are offered to users under categories. After the user enters an NFT category, they can access detailed information about those NFTs . However, Spotify does not allow NFTs to be purchased. Instead, it is directed to the NFT sales platform called Open Sea. On the other hand; Spotify has no income from this business. If a user goes from Spotify to Open Sea and buys NFT, the platform does not charge any commission . At least for now...
